What happens when you type LOVE, VICTORY, PAIN, or TYRANT? Does it only work with physical nouns?
(Also apparently CYHZOBO, UNEZBAVHZ, OYBTTRE, and RLVFGRAGVNYVFG are supposed to work.)
Dammit now I have to get this game.

Pneuma:
[LOVE creates a human heart (not a box-of-chocolates shape) VICTORY creates a fake Starite. A Starite is the goal item of every puzzle. TYRANT creates a small yellow bird. I don't know either. PAIN brings up a "Did you mean:" screen. Not in the game.]
And yes, your other words all work.

So I helped my friend fix a broken DS he got on eBay for $30 (a tiny capacitor had broken off, don't ask me how it happened I can't figure it out) so I'm getting his old DS and then short thereafter this game. I can't wait to summon cthulhu.

Maxwell sure loves to jump into pits of lava.
So much potential and a fun toy, but the controls and poor mission objectives suck all the fun out of the actual game for me. =(

I used to REALLY hate the controls, but after a few frustrating hours fiddling with some of the more stupid intricacies of them I can't begin to fathom playing without them. They're just unusual is all. EDIT: The vagueness of the mission objectives is most of the fun for me. It's not THAT you do it, but HOW you do it, and the objectives are loose and well-supported enough to allow for any number of brilliant solutions The only thing that irks me about the game is how easy it is to cheat (e.g. adjective exploits, homophones). Of course it's all up to you, and it's always good to have a way out in case you run up on a particularly difficult advanced-mode puzzle, but just the fact that you have to excercise self-control to really have fun takes away from the game a bit.

Uhm. I meant that the fun thing to do is to exercise self-control and do things the proper way, i.e. DON'T use exploits. Your sarcasm is misplaced. I would never've told you how to spell "lieu" if I knew what immense stupidity lay behind the shroud of your poor english-skills.

Maybe if you had said more clearly what was being taken away through the use of self control? It seemed like you said usuing self control to have fun took away fun from the game. I admit I wasn't sure if my response made sense as I typed it but I'm sure I wasn't the only one who missread your post.

All I know is when I was placing a raincloud to put out a fire, Maxwell decided to run into a pit.
I just really want a button to make the guy stand still for a moment while I place stuff. Or jump when I want him to so he can reach the rope I placed rather than falling down.
I have stories. I'll tell them later.

I agree with you pneuma. I just wish the D-pad had been for movment instead of doing the exact same thing as the x-y-a-b butons...
