Announcing a new* game mode, just in time to miss the holiday season! *Not actually new, just a variation on a game mode.
Capture the presents!
In this map, ctf_nordhaven_special_b3, the goal is to capture as many presents on the map and bring them back to your team's tree. But be careful, the opposing team can steal your presents! After three minutes, whoever has the most presents wins! (This map was made by Ezekel, the guy who made plr_rollout and koth_autumntwilight.)
We're also adding koth_oilfield, a remake of the control-points map, and cp_devilsbrew_final, a 5-point map (also by Ezekel), featuring control points that move when they have been captured.

Note: These maps will be added tonight, and I'll probably be removing some maps you guys don't like. I'm locking the server to work on it. Go play Torchlight or something. And if you don't have Torchlight, it's $5 today, and I recommend it.
Edit: Ugh, uploaded the wrong maps, gotta do it again. While I'm doing so, let me tally the thoughts on the new maps.

The following maps are being removed from the server:
ctf_spacebase_b1a ctf_doublecross (I know a lot of you liked this, but there were more votes against this map than there were for it.)

Goddamnit. Nordhaven's capture-the-present mode is broken. Putting on the normal ctf_nordhaven_b3 instead.

ctf_nordhaven has a really wonky fps for me. Sometimes it decides to be fine, but sometimes, especially near the middle, it decides to not... be fine.
koth_oilfield is pretty good, I'd say. It's no koth_nucleus, but it's a nice change of pace.
cp_devilsbrew is kind of weird. There's a surfeit of doors, which can be confusing, and the moving points thing is neat, but also confusing to someone who doesn't know what the heck is going on. Also, the addition of that mechanic seems to make rolls more likely. Hasn't happened to us yet, so maybe the map is balanced enough, but it's worth watching out for.
