FadedOasis is currently without cable or internet, so he will be unable to update, fix, or moderate the server until the snow lifts up and Time Warner gets off their asses and fixes shit*. Please talk to Rhench or Brian Black if something needs fixing. They both have my cell number, and I can talk them through anything they don't currently know how to do.
*Just kidding, I'm sure they're very busy attempting to deal with everything as quickly as possible

I got frightened for a minute because I mis-read the title as "Main admin without interest". Reading is important.

Fuck, that was a long 50 hours with no internet.
Six feet of snow. A tree fell on a cable line. About 500 houses in the area were without cable, internet, and phone. Shit sucked.

I've had worse But not this year. Thank God Canada has so many trees, we can afford to make our phone line poles as tall as a house and 1.5 feet in diameter

50 hours isn't so bad. Give you plenty of time to play the games without multiplayer

6 feet? that's crazy. That's deep enough to make a tunnel from the front door to the sidewalk. Of course that also means you've got dig out 6 feet of snow from the sidewalk.

Alright, six feet was an exaggeration. It's about four feet. Luckily, we're well equipped to handle storms. Throughout the entire storm, and for about six hours afterward, nobody was allowed on the roads with the exceptions of emergency vehicles and the city's snow removal. Then they opened it up to any snow removal for about twelve hours. All the streets were completely clean about 15 hours after the snow stopped.
Meanwhile, D.C. is still freaked out over the half-foot they got last month.
