Oh crap. Apparently, I've been lying to everyone. The L4D DLC won't be released until the 5th of October. Sorry. Guess we'll just have some good ol' zombie-smashing fun.

So, I enjoyed remembering how much of a jackass you can be in L4D2. Also, I hope everyone on the infected team learned not to dance around outside of the saferoom waiting for someone who can't hear mics to come back.

Also, I'm still hoping to get even 6 people together to do like, an hour or two a week to do an MMO of some type (including Borderlands). Much more fun playing with people you know. I'm thinking along the same lines as a virtual D&D campaign. Everyone gets together for a session each week, uses characters specifically for that campaign, so we all stay at roughly the same level.

I have never played D&D, but it sounds like it is good fun. How hard would it be to get on something like that?

u guys should go and follow the incredibly simple steps I posted earlier on how to increase microphone quality on steam. I didn't accidentally stumble into that command just so you guys could ignore it, y'know.

That mic tweak fucked up my mic in L4D2 and has since been reverted. Also, I thought Brian was talking about a way to play D&D. I almost got excited. Then I realized he meant borderlands.

Jeziah, that high-quality setting breaks the L4D lobby chat. It's a horrible, horrible thing.

Plain Sight today! I found a group of good servers, so hopefully everything goes well. Please meet up in the NPP Steam chat room.

Uh.
The Minecraft servers are not able to deal with the amount of traffic they are getting. People are not able to update their game, or even download a new copy. Everything Minecraft is breaking. Notch claims he won't be able to fix the most recent bugs until Monday, but when he pushes out that patch, we'll probably have the same problems we're having today.
Minecraft Monday is cancelled, unless Notch becomes omnipotent before then and happens to fix everything, but don't get your hopes up.

If, in the event that Minecraft is not fixed by the time the game is supposed to start, may I suggest an alliterative replacement to keep the game week rolling? My suggestions: either Monoclass Monday (TF2) or Magic Monday (MtG, given that Friday Night Magic was pretty fun).

Turns out I'm busy tonight. Man, I'm great at being able to attend the nights I want to play. If someone wants to pick a game and run that event, go ahead.
I'll definitely be here tomorrow night for TFTuesday.

Looking for Civ V players for Wednesday night! I'm trying to get a giant game together.

Uh.
It was called "Game Week" because I wanted to test it out for a week. It was a success, so we'll be doing a recurring "Game Night" thing.
Feel free to get together and keep playing, though.

Why not have a game every night, based on poll or w/e? It wouldn't hurt, and it would certainly fix a lot that is wrong with just one game a week, such as people missing the event and feeling left out-- Would you feel left out if you missed a daily event? Plus, with the amount of available games to play, it could be more than a month between someone's personal favourite. You don't have to organize it all if you don't want to, Faded Just put some poll threads up and it'll work itself out.
