So here's yet another idea I stole from somewhere else. Instead of inviting your whole friends list any time you want to fill the server, what if we had a group where anyone could post an announcement? Anyone who wanted to be notified whenever someone's trying to fill the server could join the group! steamcommunity.com/groups/MKWEATF2This group will be public for 48 hours, and then will be made private. Once it's been made private, just message one of the admins of the group to join it. While I'm at it, here's one for our MTG-by-webcam playgroup: steamcommunity.com/groups/MKWEAMTG. This one will stay private for now, but I have already sent an invite to the regular players. Message me if you want to join. If you want to make new icons for either group, go ahead. I slapped those ones together in about five minutes. Also, if you have ideas for other games that could benefit from this system, feel free to post a suggestion here!

This is more for games that we play at least several times a month. The Left 4 Deads and Gmod really don't fit into that category, although having a L4D2 group might not be too bad an idea. Having a group for multiple games doesn't help us get together to play one game, and if I recall correctly, it's difficult to join your friends' games in CoD:MW2 and BLOPS. I don't recall seeing DoD:S too often on my friend's list, as I think only three or four people actually play it.
If anyone wishes to refute my claims, I'll absolutely make a group, but it might not get a lot of use. I'm still considering the L4D2 group, though.

Since announcements pop up a corner notification that goes away and never comes back again, I have allowed all members to create events. Events create a corner notification when created and a center-of-screen thing when starting that doesn't disappear automatically.
Please don't abuse events, posting a large number in a short time can be annoying.
Also, I made everyone currently in the groups officers and made the groups private. Only officers may invite new people.
