Just made my purchase. Skipped the first one but decided to pick this one up.

This image was found on the Humble Indie Bundle site last night. It's not active yet, but I assume it'll be coming soon. Also, the old bundle is redeemable on Steam as well, if you bought that one.

It's up, you can get a Steam key for your Humble Bundle 2.

Only 3 of the games are part of the Steam Package. Cortex Command and Revenge of the Titans are missing. Disappointing.

That's because they aren't on Steam at all. When they get to Steam, you automatically get them.

Sweet.
So... here are my opinions on the games.
Braid - Headlines the package and is charming, awesome. Just play it.
Revenge of the Titans - Awesome little tower defense game. If tower defense games tend to bore you, give this one a shot. It's far better at engaging the player and forcing them to think about their defense than other games.
Osmos - I play this game before bedtime while listening to trip-hop and drinking sleepytime tea. (Hint: this is not criticism).
Machinarium - Point and click adventure gaming with a few modern tweaks, such as requiring exploration rather than pixel hunting. The puzzles are actually puzzles with logical solutions, rather than tricks or bullshit riddles. The storytelling is entirely visual and the music is super good.
Cortex Command - I'm going to be honest. This game is still in beta. Normally I'd be forgiving of a game with this much potential for being beta. Cortex Command is the exception. Supposedly Cortex Command received a rather significant update for the HIB2 but, I can't identify anything that improved since the last time I tried this game (two years ago). The core gameplay is incredibly clunky, and only barely functional. The game controls have a number of frustrating quirks which exceeds the number of fun things you can do while playing.

Phev found out something awesome in Cortex Command. Put 100 crabs in a crate and drop it. Thus originated the phrase "crab crate" which I use for obscenely destructive, easy to attain weapons in video games. Anyways yeah Cortex Command isn't really a playable game, and I don't see it ever becoming such from the state it's in now beyond some sort of control-one-guy-at-a-time-to-try-to-break-the-enemy-base-with-extremely-limited-resource-options thing. That said, it could be great at that. Anything else just gets way too complicated with the sort of freedom this game allows.

The thing i most enjoy about Cortex Command is the huge number of community made mods. You can get anything from a tuba that fires a small sun, to a sausage to use to destroy your enemy.
