I noticed, hidden in the pile of indie specials that "The Misadventures of PB Winterbottom" is running about $0.49 right now. There is absolutely no reason not to give this game a chance for that price.
eh, I was thinking of picking up Super Meat Boy but I've played enough platformers like it already to not really find it interesting. I'm buying the PB Winterbottom game as we speak tho
incidentally I traded my vintage heavy football helmet for the Deus Ex collection, which I've always wated to try (for the first game which is reputedly the best RPG game of the decade), and I would buy the Oddworld Bundle except that I already own half the games in it; I'll pick up Stranger's Wrath if it goes on solo sale later.

Deus Ex 1: RPG Hybrid Masterpiece Theatre Deus Ex 2: SHIT IN MY MOUTH.
Depending on who you ask, you might get told that Baldur's Gate II is actually the best RPG of the currently expiring decade. Younger gamers will try to tell you that it's Mass Effect or Dragon Age. (But they're wrong.)

It's digital distribution. The only costs they have to cover are bandwidth, and then the game developer and Valve split the rest. If a game stops selling (just like any of those games you listed), you put it on sale for cheap, make some more money, get some more people saying "Wow, this game is great" to their friends, and then sell even more copies at full price.
And this is why brick-and-mortar stores' PC game sections are shrinking.

To be fair to The Void, it's artsy nudity. You don't even really see much, even by the end of the game. It's a really weird and kinda confusing game, but it's worth playing. Or at least watching somebody else play it.
It would be kind of a weird game to give as a gift to anybody who's not in to weird, artsy things though. Probably would not give it to my dad.

The Ball is on sale for 5 bucks today, everybody should pick up that. It's rad as all hell. It's like if you combined the gravity gun puzzles in Half-Life 2 with the Companion Cube puzzles in Portal, except the Companion Cube is a gigantic ball and the gravity gun has a more awesome animation. Also there are zombies and some pretty cool Aztec designs. It's also not just rolling a ball around – the Ball has other abilities, each cooler than the last.
I got it for 10 bucks and it was definitely worth that, 5 bucks is a steal!
Oh man, Wheeze, I started watching that Let's Play and now I'm split about if I should get The Void and probably not play it myself or just finish watching the videos. Looks pretty awesome, though, it's nice to see a super artsy indie game like that with a little more game and a little less artsy pretension (although there is a fair amount of the latter as well, just not as much as, say, The Path).
Ughhhh, there's still a bunch of games from last year's sale that I haven't even touched......
Also, I've heard great things about Amnesia, although I haven't played it myself.
