Server's still crashing very often. I'm getting the hosting company to investigate. They watched while MKWEA crashed, but haven't sent me anything yet.
More info as the situation develops.

Can't find the problem. Hosting company is making a backup of the server, then I'm going to make my own backup tonight. Tomorrow, I'll try a full reinstall of the server. Hopefully, that fixes shit.

Server's reinstalled. Wondering which Official maps e should be running, now that I have to change the list anyway. Since we're registered, I don't have to worry too much about maps that empty the server anymore. Thinking about running the bold ones. cp_5gorge cp_badlands cp_coldfront cp_dustbowl cp_egypt_final cp_fastlane cp_freight_final1 (Last time we tried, people didn't like it.) cp_gorge cp_granary cp_gravelpit cp_junction_final (Never seemed to be popular) cp_mountainlab cp_steel cp_yukon_final (Designed with 32-players in mind, too large for 20.) cp_well

I'm not a fan of ctf maps; the maps are designed to favor turtling. I'd not mind in the least if they were removed from the rotation. I've also never been much of a fan of 5-point cp maps in general, although I like 5gorge and freight. The rest are pretty "meh" in my opinion (although I realize that may differ from the general populace).
Lakeside has actually grown on me, so I don't mind playing it; the other koth maps are good. Although other people seem to like it, I think Faded knows my opinions on hightower, but I've no objections to the other plr maps. I'm not the world's biggest fan of hoodoo, but if people want to play it, I guess I have no strenuous objections. (I wouldn't mind seeing it removed, however.) The rest of the payload maps are fine by me.
Just my two cents.

Server's at the point where it can run on its own. Currently grabbing Metamod and Sourcemod so I can reinstall them. Prediction: Server will be up later tonight.

Default MetaMod:Source and SourceMod configs are working. Taking a break for food, then I'll work on configuring it back to about what it was.

I'm going to counter Heller by saying I love 5cap maps and I enjoy some ctf maps, although only in small quantities. That said, I like all of the maps up in that list. And may junction burn in eternal hellfire.

Remove all ctf and plr, those are the worst gametypes. If we must have ctf and plr, please for the love of god not sawmill and pipeline.
I love freight, so I'm happy to see that in. 5cp best gametype.

I don't mind yukon (I agree it's wayy to big for a 5v5 but with a full server it could be fun).
Besides that, I think those maps look good. We can always cut things later if everyone decides they're terrible (cough hoodoo cough).

I hate ctf and agree to let it be removed wholesale. I enjoy pipeline once in a while, but I think it ruins servers and is more often than not asinine. I agree generally with what you've removed, Faded, though if I had to play ctf, I'd want it to be doublecross. I like that map (relative to ctf) for some reason.
6 is probably too many KOTH maps. I don't care about lakeside either way, sawmill does get a little irritating (don't hate it, just don't love it), and badlands already exists, why play it another time?
I'm okay with trying Hoodoo again, and I love Barnblitz/Thundermountain. Might be too many PL's though. Frontier kind of irritates me, and it used to clear servers, but that was back when it wasn't standard so I don't know anymore.
I actually dislike 5gorge. I like regular gorge, but not that one. It's just not fun. Fastlane? I can't believe we're running fastlane. I thought everyone outside competitive players hated that. Similar for badlands, but I don't hate it myself. Mountainlab can be kind of disappointing as well.
Those are my basic thoughts. Do with them what you will. /input

Okay, I'm tired of fixing it tonight. Server's open. Things that are disabled: Replays Deadchat* Fakeachievements This guy*tf_teamtalk is enabled, though. (If Alex is on Red and alive, and Bob is on Blu and dead, Alex won't be able to see what Bob types.) In the unfortunate case of this problem never being resolved, I can't keep resetting the server myself. If you want to be able to log in to the server control panel and reset the server when it crashes, let me know and I'll consider it. Also, if you want general mod status, ask. It's how Paul Morel got mod access.

Never mind. Replay's still causing some stutter, and some fake-crashes where the server stops responding for a short bit, but comes back in about 15 seconds. It's not happening *too* often, so I'm going to leave replay on for now. If you would prefer replays disabled so we don't get any fake-crashes, please post in this thread.

Edit: Server now defaults to koth_Nucleus instead of cp_Dustbowl. ctf_Sawmill and plr_Pipeline removed from rotation.
Server is now in Highlander mode!

As much as I like the idea of doing something cool, deciding I should save a replay, then forgetting to hit the button before I respawn... I would prefer smooth gameplay on a stable server.

Given the degree to which the stutters were impacting gameplay, and were causing people to reflexively disconnect, I'd agree with fivealarm that we should disable replays for the time being.

Replays have been disabled. If the game still stutters, I have absolutely no idea why.
