Does this pique anyone's interest? I've started to get into a serious turn-based kick lately (XCOM, a couple of iphone games) due to childnotsleepingwhenwillieversleepagain. Shorthand: rounds play out in 10 second increments, interrupted by planning phases where you decide what your boats do. The boats in your fleet can be customized to your specifications up to a point limit, and you can play multiplayer games vs. up to 4 people at once. The time between turns can be as low as 30 seconds, up to 7 days, letting you choose between a game you're playing NOW vs. something you're checking in on once a day. Here's a video of some developers playing and answering questions: www.twitch.tv/paradoxinteractive/b/392148913
