Round 1 is almost over, so Sora and I have been figuring out what to do for Round 2. It's becoming a lot less secretive. We're allowed to talk about the game, but individual involvement still needs to stay hidden. I'm sick of logging out and logging in under the fake account, so I'm just going to be using this one. Here's the rules:
How the game is played:
When the game starts, you will be sent the name of someone else in the game via private message. They are your target. At the same time, someone will be sent your name. You will have to earn a TF2 domination on your target before someone gets to you.
When you dominate your target, take a screenshot of the scoreboard to prove it, and either email it or use the forum's message service to send it to me. I will send you the name of a new target. This game goes on until there's nobody left.
Tweaks of the rules:
You're still not allowed to tell anyone that you're playing. Rhench and I figured this one out the hard way. I was somewhat deliberately avoiding him, as I knew I was his target. I quickly dropped out of the game. Thus, revealing your target to anyone is still forbidden. However, you can now still discuss rules of the game and such.
Another problem we had was that people were surviving solely by not playing TF2. Quick and easy fix: If you don't play at least 7 hours each week, you die. However, I highly suggest you play more, so you can kill your target. Also, if you don't think you'll be able to follow this rule, please don't sign up. The biggest pain from last round was all the waiting.
One more thing. Incentive.
Prize Structure!
First Place: The last person alive wins a copy of Left 4 Dead 2 (or, if they already own Left 4 Dead 2, 6 months of reserve slot access).
Second Place: The last person to die wins three months of reserve slot access.
Signing up
I'm going to have to pay for the copy of Left 4 Dead 2 somehow, so access to this game will cost something. But believe me, I'm making it worth it. For the low cost of $5, you get access to the game and reserve slot access for however long you're in the game, in increments of months. This means that if you die after the first day of a month, you still get reserve slot access for that whole month. (Anyone with reserve slot access already will be given additional access equal to blah blah whatever. I'm fair about it.)
So how do you sign up?

And that's it. Remember, good assassins never reveal themselves.
