What do you think might be in the demo man update? What kinds of ways could he be changed?
I was thinking of course there could be motion sensor bombs that are weaker. But that could in some ways be overpowered. Afterall, they can't miss and they would be basically so self maintaining that they would require no skill. They would have a low skill floor but also a low skill ceiling. You can't really do much more with them
Well perhaps if they were timed? Lke they would disappear after a time. At the same time, it doesn't seem to add anything to the demo man.
I was showing some friends tf2 trying to get them into it, and one of them saw me planting sticky mines. A scout ran by and my friend asked if I could i plant stickies on friends. then a scout could bum rush a fort and then blow themselves up.
Now this is interesting but is it useful? hmmm, well with the newest voices, it could be interesting. I highly doubt its this kamikaze thing. However, maybe its that the demo and solly are going to get an update that emphasizes cooperative play. On 6v6 its solly and medic grouped together, but on most pubs its heavy and medic. Maybe the update will make solly and demo more suitable for medic combo, though its not like thats their biggest weakness or something they honestly lack that much. I think one major thing is that whatever the debuff is, its going to take away their mobility since thats one thing they have over alot of other classes, which is obvious for them to change.
