Quick clarification:
You are "inactive" if you haven't killed or been killed in seven days. I will check for inactivity at least three times a week.
If your mark is inactive, you are exempt from point loss due to inactivity.

I'm going to chalk it up to a noob not knowing how to play the game. I yelled at cake about it, but it seems like he thought that getting a new mark always meant losing points.

I've been telling people, but I should post it here: JULY IS BETA MONTH. Going to tweak the numbers and some rules heavily before August.
Also, I haven't forgotten about the MOTD-like hunting page thing I was discussing.. Basically, instead of having to check the forums for the kill log and scoreboard, all you will have to do it type /hunt, and the chalkboard will pop up, but the page inside will be an html scoreboard and kill log or something.
I haven't started working on it yet, but it's still on my to-do list. Damned Engie update keeps me busy.

Just found the plugin for setting up custom chat triggers to web pages. I can't mess with any of it until tomorrow, when the server is empty.

Gotta say I love the fist minigame. It's amazing watching Xadera switch classes to target his hunters -- hopefully he's enjoying the challenge :) Also mad props to Faded for the map progress graphic.

It's a challenge alright XD Gotta count kills against each person to gauge my best bet at doms, then count the number of kills against me to prevent doms, watch the kill announcements to see who is what class, be sure to kill myself at end-game to make sure someone doesn't mess up my kill-streak, try and avoid anyone I've already dommed so they can't break it before I get the next, chart planetary alignments, trek to the top of the mountain to meet with the TF2 guru... Suffice it to say, I was a little burnt out by the end of today. And by a little, I mean I couldn't even kill someone with demo-spam on Mach4, let alone hit with any other weapon, especially not with a sniper rifle XD

I will be unable to resolve any hunting game doms between 7pm and 10pm Eastern (4-7 Pacific) today. It will look like I'm playing TF2. It may even look like I'm on MKWEA. But for the times when I'm not on MKWEA, I'll be really busy.
I'll resolve everything when TNT is over.

Granted, your way seems more effective, but mine still lets me drink while I play.

Whatsit has two primary personalities that enables Whatsit to function properly, as was installed by Dr. CENSORED during the first of the preliminary thought configuration trials. The goal of the 'Whatsit' protocol (William Hatterson's Intuitiveness Protocol) was to create an artificial being that was completely co-dependent on itself and capable of learning.
The basic form of this protocol is simple: Doctoral and Non-Doctoral. When one personality had been overwhelmed by the performance required in trails (one of which included a Comedic, Multiplayer 'First-Person Shooter' game titled "Team Fortress 2"), the other would take over to continue that portion of the test. These separate personalities were completely diversified, down to vocal patterns and trial strategies. And the results from this unit were marvelous: both personalities could learn cognitively and were able to adapt to the trials given to them.
Unfortunately, due to the overall price of the components used in the unit ($45,430,000) and the scandals involved with the secretary of Dr. CENSORED, the 'Whatsit' design was to forever remain unique.
If find it impossible to think that personnel from the 'Rench' Foundation, LLC would be able to stir such a hate for both the machine and the protocol called 'Whatsit', which was ultimately designed to help baby seals.

I need to hand out a lot of new marks and a couple penalties, but it's a bitch to keep track of who's inactive. Besides, I think waiting 7 to 11 days for a new mark is too steep. We'll fix it next month.
Also, at the end of this month, we're taking a two-week break for several reasons. One, we have to make sure the new system is up and running. Two, I need some time to tweak numbers. Three, I think everyone needs a break to just play normal TF2 and not always worry about things.

Betting is now open. You may now place bets on the winners of the duels. Message me to purchase one of the following tickets: (Duels are Heller vs. Rhench, Pneuma08 vs. Scrambles.)

Everyone, including me, seems to have lost interest in the game. A full month is too long, I guess.
I'm going to end the game here and spend my time planning out the next one. Congrats, Xadera, your code for the free Avatar game is being sent t-- Wait, what's this? Xadera has donated the game back! (Did anyone really expect him not to?)
