So today whilst going about my normal TF2 business, my video card decided to die. I don't know exactly what is causing it to only boot in safe mode and the bios characters to look all funky and out of place but I can't fix it. So until I can amass the funds to get myself a new rig I will only be getting occasionally since my Nvidia 6100 on board GPU can't deal with TF2 properly

i could mail you my backup if you would like. it's not very good but it can run the game. just so you could have something until your new rig is ready.

Thanks but if anything I'd rather solve the problem than get a replacement. I've narrowed the problem down to the PCI express slot/ Motherboard. Me and my brother plugged my card in his rig and it booted just fine. my next test is to see if another card will work fine and if not then its the slot thats busted.
