I'm thinking about doing some kind of tournament type thing. It's in suggestions because I'm open to them. My initial idea:
3 on 3, KotH matches or Arena matches; 2 on 2, first player to get a domination wins for the team;
I was thinking no permanent partners, as that would make the pool size way bigger and prevent one team from having Whatsit and Xadera, thus making everyone else lose. That is, one game I play with Whatsit and Brian on my team, the next I might have to face either, both or neither, depending. If I get enough interest and good ideas for how to do this I may try it as a big event, I may just do it once in a while on offpeak hours, or who knows.

I would play, I like the koth idea. 2v2 with dominations makes the tryhard choice medic + heavy/soldier/demo with everyone who doesn't wanna run with that set up sol.

I contest that said unbeatable Whatsit/Xadera combo would get reflect-arrowed to defeat. Furthermore, I strongly encourage my opponents to play soldier. Thirdly, I make the bold assumption that scoring is based on the individual rather than the team then? To elaborate, each team member of a winning team gets a point, thus enabling this so-called shuffling?

Brian, that would be how I envisioned it, yes.

I'm glad someone else can see the viability of the reflected-arrow strategy as a winning one.
