I was bored, and had a cruel idea. I've changed one convar for one map on the server. It created a slight change in the map. Noticeable, doesn't change gameplay. First three people to Steam message me with what I've done gets a prize.
Prize list:
Heavy Duty Rag Prancer's Pride Texas Slim's Dome Shine Nine of my spare weapons (one from each class) 40 crates
First place gets their choice from this list. Second place gets a random choice. Third place gets my choice.
Don't post answers on this forum.

Question: Is the change limited to the physical geometry of the map or can it be... anything?
(I searched the definition of "convar" on google and got nothing but wikipedia gibberish, technical problems, and 9/11 conspiracy theories. That's odd.)

Convar means variable. The small things like map time, gravity, or if players can use sprays. It's none of those, though.
"Question: Is the change limited to the physical geometry of the map or can it be... anything?"
If you're talking about the way the map looks and plays, it isn't that. "It created a slight change in the map. Noticeable, doesn't change gameplay." The map plays the exact same. But that doesn't mean it can't be visual. (I will neither confirm or deny if it is visual.)
If you have an actual guess, don't post it here. Send me a message or email.

If no one gets any in a certain timeframe, could you give a clue? I.E. "It's on a CP map" or something broad like that.

Jamez wins prize #2! He won (chosen at random) the Heavy Duty Rag.
Heller still hasn't chosen.

Rhench won #3: 40 crates.
Heller took the Texas Slim.
This contest took 30 days. It should have taken 3. The answer was Overtime bug on Thunder Mountain.

To be fair, I noticed it on like, day 2. I just have been gone so long, I assumed it was on all maps that way. Or I'm dumb. Either are good choices.
