If you're going to keep the radioactive sign *in* the pit, it should be a little farther down. About halfway down, I'd say.
But what if he jumps off of his sentry, carrying a teleporter?

This page is taking a long time to load. Cake, in the future, could you limit yourself to two images per post, and just post four or five times in a row? That way we hit new pages quicker.
Looks good, if a little plain, but I'm sure some shadows and light positions will easily fix that.

While multiple maptype maps are cool, people aren't going to want to learn how to do them. I'd say the thing that would actually get people playing would be a new way to look at an old maptype. Even one not that old, like plr. All the plr maps are very symmetrical, nearly box-shaped, except for the final ascent on the original plr map.
Something where the carts are above/below one another and swap at intervals would be cool. Or where they start together but move in different directions. That's where I'm sitting.
Also, where would you recommend someone who has an interest in mapmaking, but zero experience doing so begin? I'm interested in mapmaking in more than just tf2, but it's a good place to start, I'd think.

Oddly enough, l4d2 maps are what I really want to make. That's an awesome resource, thanks Cake.
