So a lot more people have been noticing the issue with reserve slots: If multiple (non-reserve-access) people join into one slot (21/22), the one who loads fastest gets in, and the other gets kicked because he's joined into the reserved slot. Before F2P, this wasn't that big of a problem. The server wasn't constantly full, so nobody noticed.
Nowadays, I'm getting a lot of complaints about the current system. Players are hitting this bug a lot more often, and one reserve slot doesn't seem to be enough.
I'm going to be fucking with the convars and try to get things to be like this:
24 Player Slots Total, because that's what we pay for. Of that 24: 20 Viewable public-access slots (Will show X/20 (Or X/X, if X is larger than 20)) 1 Hidden public-access slot (If two people join into a 19/20 server, both will get in. If three join, one will hit the bug. Also, it means if the server shows 20/20, the "connect" command could get anybody in.) 2 Hidden Reserve-access slots (Increased capacity for those who help the server stay up!) 1 Hidden Replay slot (Required for replays. Nothing I can do about this.)
