Well technically, it says I am allowed one cookie related post in the rule section Most of you don't know this but me and my family run a small italian bakery and we have entered a contest for a chance to win money for our business. I tried voting, but it didn't show up. It may be because Facebook would have my location information and that would tip them off to the fact that I'm in Canada and not voting for a local buisness? It also said to try back later, so I guess I'll check again in a bit.

Setting up a Facebook takes hardly any time; I've made throw away accounts for worse things, like in-game awards that required one, so you may as well try.
